Moxie the Dog needs a home

Meet Moxie! Moxie came to us when one of her family members became very ill and the family could no longer care for her. Moxie is a sweet 6 year old Black Lab. She has lived with cats, but would do best in a home with no children under the age of 13 and no dogs. She has never lived with kids before and is very unsure of them. She is starting to develop arthritis in her back hips and legs, and has a previous ACL injury that can be painful for her. She has been started on a daily pain management medication and will need to continue that in her new home. Moxie is house trained and walks well on a leash with a harness. Moxie's new family will be required to work with one of the two trainers who volunteer here at the shelter.
